Here are my top 3 recommendations for WordPress hosting providers for businesses OR freelancers: 1. BlueHost 2. NameHero 3. Hostinger (All 3 are based off affordability, security, and speed)

Been a while since I tweeted. I'll touch on some things I learned in the past month. For larger website designs, it's essential to use more breakpoints when optimizing a site in Elementor. Just mobile, desktop, and tablet aren't enough.

The top 3 tools all web designers need: 1. Figma (helps for designing layouts before you actually design the website) 2. Webflow 3. Elementor Honorable Mention: Google Analytics

What you SHOULD do before starting to design a website: 1. Make a wireframe (if it's not already given) 2. Design the layout of the website in Figma 3. You can convert a Figma design to a theme in Elementor, then continue working

From today, I'm gonna start using Webflow more to design websites. It's similar to Elementor in many ways: - they both don't require code - you can drag-and-drop their widgets (in a sense) - simple to use, but with a large learning curve

3 things every web designer should do in regards to SEO on their websites: - add alt tags/meta description - title each blog post/page on their site to match SEO - utilize underused keywords to rank higher

This is why Elementor is the best page-builder for businesses wanting a website... – No code, but not too simple (like Bricks or Breakdance) – Clean workflow – Instant client previews – Mobile tweaks in seconds (mobile optimization is simple)

If your Elementor site feels slow: – Ditch heavy themes (use Hello Elementor or Astra) – Use global fonts – Disable unused widgets/plugins – Enable “Improved Asset Loading”

I never finish a WordPress site without installing: – Really Simple SSL (security) – WP Fastest Cache (caching, optimization) – Yoast SEO (SEO) - Elementor (page builder)

Client asks for “easy to edit” → I build with Elementor. Client asks for “fast and scalable” → I use bricks or code. Tools depend on context — no one-size-fits-all.

Want pixel precision with Elementor? Turn on “Custom Breakpoints” and tweak tablet/phone layouts independently. Your mobile users will thank you.

The best resources for web designers (that I use): 1. FontJoy (creates font pairings that match well) 2. Pexels (free stock images that don't require attribution) 3. Tinypng (free image compression to save space on your website)

Was busy the past month of April, but I'm back. Here are my goals for the summer: 1. Revamp my personal site 2. Aim to get 2-3 more clients by August 3. Learn SEO and Graphic Design 4. Just improve my skills in Elementor

When to have a video vs. a still image for the hero section on a homepage 1. If your niche offers an experience (like a restaurant, a travel service, an arcade), it should be a video. 2. Otherwise, a still image/slideshow is fine.

If I had to start over and learn web design again, I'd probably do these 3 things: 1. Learn more HTML/CSS (php isn't used as much) 2. Take more courses on how to use Elementor 3. Start spamming more jobs on Upwork, see if Linkedin has any opportunities
