Every single day for the past five or six years I think to myself “maybe this is the day that my head will explode”
Briefly visible in this extremely laughable video is a liquor store where me and my friends would buy beer and cigs for our parents and candy for us back in the 80s. We would act up so much that we were all eventually “banned for life” by Ruthie who remember being the owner.
West Wildwood residents fearing their borough police department is being eliminated, pack this Friday night Board of Commissioners meeting so much it’s over capacity & has to be moved outside to the local park across the street. Story @FOX29philly at 10pm.

Although I do not have his permission and he’ll probably be mad at me, I’m going to use today, my oldest kid’s 18th birthday, to post this amazing pic of him. ❤️❤️❤️
Today is the 88th anniversary of the Battle of Cable Street, when thousands of East-Londoners stood alongside Jewish and Irish communities to drive out Oswald Mosley and his fascists. Never forget: working-class unity can defeat the far right for good.
I love this story.
I’ve been happy to see Dikembe Mutombo remembered with such fondness since his death on Monday, so I will share my own story. While waiting on a train platform at 30th Street Station in May 2006 I noticed the gentle giant standing a few feet away.
As an ex-longshoreman, I didn’t make close to $100k and the job was real and hard and sometimes dangerous. It helped me pay for my college education, though. But, sure, go off office worker guy.
Longshoremen in this country basically have government-granted hereditary fiefs for fake jobs that pay $200k+/year which they pass down to their kids by submitting fraudulent timesheets so the kids get union seniority

The last day of summer has always been depressing to me. Today is effectively the last day of summer for my kids. HS soccer tryouts start tomorrow at 8am. I think I am way more bummed about summer “ending” than they are.
