There's a reason why "occult" means "hidden". Keep your work to yourself or the group you practice with. Too many outside influences will interfere with your outcome.
Satanism is the path of the self. Self deification is above all the most important aspect of this belief system. Nobody to tell you what to say, do, speak, think, act. You hold yourself accountable for your own progress.
