Maybe this is what CJ is missing…

Tank Dell said people can say what they want about C.J. Stroud, but when they get back out there together on the field he said “It’s going to be special.”

This game altered my brain chemistry when it comes to football…

I've slept on it, the sky stopped falling. Reality is, CJ isn't going anywhere. Let's get better around him. Better coaching, better players. Now what does that look like? We'll spend the offseason figuring it out.

CJ played Mediocre all year, and missed 3 games.

CJ Stroud 2025 season Ranks Overall Passing Grade 15th Clean Passing Grade 15th EPA/DB 11th ANY/A 16th QBR 11th Playoff performances were brutal, but don't think his overall season was a disaster. I also wouldn't extend him. Just let him play out his rookie deal

I’ve seen this story before..

Will Anderson Jr. had C.J. Stroud's back after the Texans loss to the Patriots.

Will Anderson Jr deserves every penny he might ask for this offseason. Time and time again he answered that call for the Texans D. Shoutout to him on an incredible season.

This guy gave his all today…Wasn’t much more he could have done and you can see that as he walked off the field after the loss to the Pats…#Texans #Sarge #BigSargeMedia #WillAndersonJr

after almost 24 hrs after the game, I’m still in shock and disbelief that CJ played so horrible. I hope it’s a learning experience for him, and maybe, he will find what his needs from the past season to progress. We’re mad, but I don’t think the city has given up fully on 7 yet.

One thing is true, CJ has loss some confidence in himself, and the fear was there all season. The inconsistency. Don’t know what to blame on that, can’t get mad at the OL for poor decision making, passes, cause he would do it with a clean pocket too.

Number of players stand out this season. Defensively, we can hand out multiple awards however, Will Anderson Jr, Jalen Pitre, and Danielle Hunter deserve the all time praise. Offensively, Dalton Schultz, Woody Marks, and Nico Collins. Without them , it was obvious we were missing

After all, The Texans finished the season 13-6 after starting 0-3. Yesterday marking their first loss since November 4th (Broncos). With an exceptional defense, that was fun as hell to watch. Offensively, the struggles continued all the way until the end with numerous of injuries

3-3 in playoffs. 3 straight playoff trips to Divisional Rounds. CJ has been apart of the success for the Texans the last 3 years. A player who was once the reason this franchise is where they are. I’ll never forget that. Which is why I respect him.

CJ Stroud is 24 years old and has 3 playoff wins. I get he had a rough game but some of you all are showing you lack of ball knowledge.

This play will haunt Texans fans. A time where I really want to hear what was discussed on the sideline after this. As soon as Harrison Bryant slipped, CJ should’ve shot it at Bryant’s feet or took the sack. Seriously, just lost on why he thought this was a good idea.

Why throw this ball ?? Elite QB iQ should've told stroud to dirt the ball or eat the sack Not throw a rainbow ball

With the idea, that Nick spends some money on the OL, and maybe adding another Veteran WR and TE2. The good thing is, majority of all the defense will be back next year.. I expect the Texans to be right back in a good position nxt yr, with a better offense.

Now that my emotions are calm down😂 I do think you ride another year with CJ. He still under contract, and he will be getting some weapons back next year. Of course, obviously, you don’t extend him, but I would give him another year man.

I want to believe this mf will bounce back and have a MVP caliber year after the one he just had. Especially if Nick goes in on offense this offseason, but CJ has lost some of the faith and respect from the fans, I really want to believe.

"I look back and I feel like I let people down. ... It hurts." –C.J. Stroud after the loss to the Patriots

I hope he realizes that all he had to do was be a game manager yesterday and not a hero.

#Texans C.J. Stroud: 'I look back and I feel like I let people down, and that hurts. I didn't play my best. I was too loose with the football. My whole team trusts me. They believe in me. I take full responsibility. Ball security is everything.' @KPRC2
