Achieving both thermally activated delayed fluorescence and triplet-triplet annihilation in organic materials holds significant promise for advancing the performance of OLEDs. We demonstrate that these processes coexist. A full text at URL: rdcu.be/effdB
Amitav's paper on isolating the interesting quantum beats using 2D spectroscopy makes it to J Chem Phys and Chem Phys Rev Editors' Choice 2024 list! @sahu_amitav Thank you @JChemPhys for recognizing our ideas. Check it out below! pubs.aip.org/jcp/collection…
Ronika and Suraj have discovered unique dynamics arising from interplay of spectral and band topology in open quantum systems. Our preprint is now out on arXiv. Nice collaboration with Suraj Hegde (IISER-TVM) and Tobias Meng (TU Dresden) @_SSCU_IISc arxiv.org/abs/2503.07193
My first work: Optimal control-based nuclear spin cross-polarization in the presence of complicating anisotropic interactions - now published in PCCP pubs.rsc.org/en/content/art… @kumar_sheetal @rvsubbarao @asifequbal313 @_SSCU_IISc @iiscbangalore @serbonline @PCCP @CoherentSpins
Maitri and Aneek's discoveries from last summer are now published. They found a remarkable tunability of topological semimetals using bicircular light. Just out in New Journal of Physics @sscu_iisc @IOPPublishing @NJPhysics
"All quantum beats are equal, but some quantum beats are more equal than others" - George Orwell Check out Amitav's latest work to find out which ones! @sahu_amitav doi.org/10.1063/5.0253…
The realization of stable radical cations in donor-acceptor molecular materials is a daunting task. In our recent studies, we demonstrated a rational design strategy using diketopyrrolopyrrole-based materials to achieve stable radical cations. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…
All the sessions of the unit day were exciting. Thanks to Prof. Sayam Sengupta, Prof.Pavan Nukala, Prof.Kanishka Biswas, Prof. Rajeev Ranjan & Prof.Sreetosh Goswami for the talks. It was great to learn about the importance of creativity and perseverance needed in science. (2/n)
First Day of SSCU Unit day and in-house symposium concluded. We were elated to have the founder of the unit, Bharatratna Prof. C.N.R. Rao with us along with Mrs. Indumati Rao, Prof. G. Rangarajan and Prof. G. Mugesh. (1/n)
Look who we found in our lab this weekend !! It was our great pleasure to host David Jonas in @_SSCU_IISc @iiscbangalore. David talked about generalized Einstein coefficients, how to *quantitatively* derive thermodynamical quantities from 2D spectra !
Please RT! Check out our theoretical work on NV-13C DNP mechanism. @shubham_k_deb used reduced bases and average hamiltonian theory to get insights on matching condition and polarization transfer efficiency. sciencedirect.com/science/articl… @kumar_sheetal @_SSCU_IISc #NMRChat
We are delighted to announce that D. D. Sarma (DD) has received R.D. Birla Memorial Award for the year 2024 from the Indian Physics Association for his pioneering contributions to material physics. For past recipients, visit this link. tifr.res.in/~ipa1970/rdlis…
To Localize or Delocalize? Anyone working with DPP-based systems knows the challenge: hole polarons struggling to delocalize over a destabilizing DPP-lactam core. Read more: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ad…
Excited to announce that SSCU is hosting the Indo-French Laboratory of Solid-State Chemistry Workshop from Oct 7-9, 2024! A great opportunity to foster collaboration between India and France, connecting scientists and strengthening research in Solid State Chemistry. #IFLaSc
Excited to share our latest work in npj Materials Sustainability! 🌱 We studied carbon sequestration in earth-based alkali-activated mortar, analyzing its phase changes and performance after natural exposure. Read more: nature.com/articles/s4429…
