Back in January, this litter of young kittens was abandoned on the side of the road in a crate during a bitter cold snap. Our grant to @_tinypaws covered the costs of their care--and we can't believe how big they are now!
We were back on the ground with @_tinypaws in Oklahoma yesterday to check in with kittens receiving lifesaving care through our grant! You may remember Elizabeth, the blind kitten we introduced to you back in November. Here she is then and today--grown up and doing amazing!
Ok, Twitter. Sweet & sassy kitty Sammie just had her 1 year anniversary living at @_TinyPaws Kitten Rescue in Stillwater, OK, but she’s no kitten! She had her kittens when she got there - they found homes, but she stayed. Time to change that. Adopt: facebook.com/10000011459191… or RT!

We are thrilled to welcome Katara, a 2 year-old female fishing cat to our animal family! The recommendation for her to come to the OKC Zoo came from the AZA Species Survival Plan® (SSP) for fishing cats. Katara joins our three male fishing cats Chet, Boon and Puddles.

Most of our rescues need intense round-the-clock bottle feeding, but sometimes we have these situations where a rescued momma cat can take some of the workload! Once the babies are weaned, and everyone gets 'fixed', these babies (and momma) will be up for adoption!
