Faith, family and community all depend on enterprise being allowed to thrive. When people can build businesses, create jobs and invest locally, dignity, stability and opportunity follow.
Strong communities are built on secure work, affordable homes and businesses that can plan ahead, and when those foundations are right, families and places can thrive.
A healthy housing market depends on confidence and mobility and when people can move, invest and plan ahead, families settle, businesses grow and communities thrive.
Families and small businesses thrive when rules are clear, responsibilities are understood, and effort is rewarded. It’s my opinion that that’s how strong communities are built.
Our children’s safety online shouldn’t rest on parents fighting alone against powerful platforms. Responsibility should sit with families and with those who design and profit from these systems.
Enterprise is what turns effort into opportunity. When people are free to start businesses, create jobs and invest locally, families are more secure and communities are stronger.
Walked past Westminster yesterday on my way to Conservative HQ and took this photo. It’s a reminder that this work is never about destination or status, but about service, and trusting Jesus with each step of the journey.
Leadership is built in the small, everyday decisions and not just the big moments. Doing the basics well, consistently and responsibly, is how trust is earned over time.

Good government isn’t about headlines but clear responsibility, steady delivery and doing the basics well, especially at local level. It is where trust is built or lost.
Local government has a way of cutting through ideology very quickly. If something doesn’t work on the ground, residents let you know. And rightly so.

This is a good thing. Labour, Lib Dems and Conservatives all have their own Christian fellowships. You can share a faith and come to different political conclusions. Though if we’re Christians, we need to remember that politics cannot save us, it is important but not ultimate.
