Emotions are like gauges on a machine, they tell you about the health of the machine, they are not the problem by themselves. You need to control the process by looking at the gauges (your emotions) to get the ultimate result you want!
Spot on! failing is inevitable, the real question is how much you are failing with. If you keep your trades reasonably sized WRT your capital, failures will only be lessons. Mess up your position sizing and failures will be the end of your trading career!
Absolutely right, traders make money and traders lose money. So its vital to focus on trader behavior and find as much as you can about their motivations, fears, frustrations. That is where the real money is!

No You got me wrong. My point is to identify the underlying trader behavior of a setup. Because price can develop in 100 different ways and will be used by smart money to manipulate retail traders. But once you understand the behavior of participants, you wont be fooled.
Completely agree. Most retail traders underestimate the importance of "peace of mind" in trading. Profits without peace of mind are not very enjoyable. Profits with peace of mind are pure gold!
Being satisfied with 2% per month which is great is the real key. In this world of flashy PnL screenshots and "instagram" life, being content is a super power! More power to you...
