Email marketing doesn't have to be complicated. Every email falls into 1 of 3 categories: 1. Transactional 2. Nurture-based 3. Promotional Let's break em' down ๐Ÿ‘‡

Your hook should do one of two things: 1๏ธ. Speak to your reader 2. Spark curiosity Anything else? They might keep scrolling.

In ONE word, why don't more people build their own email list?

This past week I've been on vacation. Cruising the shores of the Bahamas, soaking up the sun and sipping lots of fruity drinks. This is what being your own boss is all about. Work when you want, play when you want.

"I don't want to send too many emails and annoy my list." I hear you, but here's the thing... If you're sending content they enjoy reading you're: - not annoying them - you're staying top of mind & building trust And people BUY from those they know, like & trust.

How many emails is too many? Remember, people have to see something 7 times before they consider buying (on average). Don't be afraid to stay top of mind with your emails. As long as you're sending stuff that helps the reader in some way, don't hold back.

Easiest way to keep emails out of spam? Ask people to REPLY BACK to your emails. This shows email servers your content is worth sending to the inbox.

How post-purchase sequences SHOULD look: - order confirmation email - shipping confirmation - delivery confirmation - cross-selling emails - loyalty program invite - feedback request emails How they ACTUALLY look: - order confirmation email Focus more on nurturing.

When you realize that building a successful business is: 90% mindset 10% strategy Focus on who you need to BE. And what you need to DO will become clearer.

Repeat after me: Do it scared. Do it scared. Do it scared. The only way to not feel scared, is to first do it scared.

Repeat after me: Do it scared. Do it scared. Do it scared. Because someday, you won't be scared anymore. You'll just do it.

How to save lost sales with email marketing: If people haven't bought by the end of your welcome sequence, send them a Feedback Loop Email. Ask why they didn't buy & list reasons. Whenever they click a reason, it triggers a NEW email flow designed to address their concerns.

Instead of slamming your email list with LaSt CHanCe emails, try this: - send a plain text letter from a team member - let them know their discount just expired (or will be expiring) - mention that you've bumped the discount up by 5% See what results it brings.

Email marketing is like dating. If you don't take the time to build the relationship, will it really last?

What's ONE way you can incorporate storytelling in your emails for an ecommerce brand?

Writer's block? Creative juices drying up? ๐ŸŒฒ Go for a walk Nature by default lowers stress levels and births creative thinking. Stop forcing your thoughts, let them wander for a while.

๐ŸŒฒ Go for a walk

Nature by default lowers stress levels and births creative thinking.

Stop forcing your thoughts, let them wander for a while.

โŒ Stop: living to work โœ… Start: working to live We gotta stop getting it mixed up.

Unpopular opinion: you don't have to hustle to be successful It's all a *perspective*
