Sigh. 1.6 Kg of CO2 = 3.5 Kw/h with the US generation mix, so to consume that in a half hour implies that end-to-end streaming consumes 7000 watts, which is off by well over an order of magnitude. We can quibble about accounting with 2x, but 10x is just BS.
I hope @elonmusk never has his heart and liver removed without anesthetic. He doesn't seem to mind it's happening to thousands of others in China supported by his investment there.

Found a @facebook #security & #privacy issue. When the app is open it actively uses the camera. I found a bug in the app that lets you see the camera open behind your feed. Note that I had the camera pointed at the carpet.
