The bloke that owns @swxbristol is currently trying to evict @leadmill sacking their team and stripping Sheffield of 42 years of musical heritage. Surely this isn’t the sort of person you’d want to directly support by playing at his venue?
We can’t lose @Leadmill. We first played there when we just left sixth form and since then they helped us develop to play their main stage and offered us some amazing opportunities along the way. This place is way more than just a venue. #WeCantLoseLeadmill
To clarify, if the landlord gets their way then there will be NO more Leadmill. Everything that currently makes our venue what it is will be gone. The sign will go, the staff will go and the building will be stripped of everything that makes it unique, including our name.
