YEEEEEET! New Iteration of the #rope, now has #physics involved, but no #Rigidbody or #colliders with the rope! Done with #unity3d still some things to be improved!
Went back to the basics, and now the rope is ALIVE! 👀 Some new #physics with the #rope does the trick. #unity3D #Simulation

The current state of the rope, it automatically recovers, u can fix it to a certain length and move with that, u can make it longer while moving, detects small corners, and more to come. #ropesystem #unity3D #gamedev @Naughty_Dog
This is my current take on a rope system. I've been working for less than a month now (considering that I had some big pauses). Still trying to kind of replicate the one seen in The Last of Us 2 from @Naughty_Dog. How did u guys do this??? @MaksZhuravlov
Damm raycasts...
My channels, where I post most of my videos when I post them. 1.- Shorts, 2.- Gaming and randoms, 3.- Devlogs and similar
Finally, I solved the issue. Now the #ropesystem, it's working. No rigid bodies used, neither colliders nor joints. All working thanks to some #IK and collision detection via raycast. It can detect corners, so the next step is to climb from there :) #gamedev #unity3d #games
