Just sent an email to all my first year students with a TYPO in my OWN NAME. I generally spend too long composing and editing emails for this specific reason... today I thought I'd just "fire one off..." sheesh...
i'm pleased to see many smaller clothing brands with "extended sizing" (that actually goes beyond 2x)-- but i am noticing that these sizes are VERY OFTEN out of stock?! so are you really including fat folks? why are you making so few garments??

Believe survivors, absolutely. But also trust survivors. They are the experts of their own lives, and they do not owe us their stories. Many of the folks impacted this weekend may never come forward publicly– they still deserve support & healing & time. /end
If someone discloses to you, don't try to fix it but hold space for their feelings. Ask them how to best show up for them. Ask them what would be helpful. Don't ask them for details, don't assume they want to formally report. /6
