Its about a lack of talent. This is the same brain dead fanbase who thought Sherwood was an upgrade to Mosley last season when his film showed he clearly is a safety playing MLB. Jets fans overrate our talent.
#Jets fans overrated the fuck outta Sherwood last season insulting CJ. Pissed me off to no end. NOW in 2025 these dumb ass fans see it but would rather blame Glenn for our lack of talent.
CJ has lost a step in pass coverage. But the drop off in that is no comparison to what I see with Sherwood versus the run. CJ has dropped at least six or seven interceptions the past two seasons he’s not that much liability compared to Sherwood versus the run.
Only the #Jets would draft a WR who can “take the top off a defense” in a league where defenses have learned to no longer allows teams to take the top off of these new age defenses.
