A nice role in the #PHP ecosystem is open! Details in the link in the thread.

The PHP Foundation is Seeking a New Executive Director! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’œ We're asking the PHP community to help find the right person for this role. If you know someone who would be an excellent fit, please encourage them to apply or reach out to us directly. #phpc #php

No more #PHP tribes, no more framework wars! Finally someone found a way to make the PHP community united โค๏ธ! larafony.com On a serious note, though, what an awful idea for a framework name ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜‚. Could be good for a banter, but this project looks serious ๐Ÿ˜….

Seems like a nice #PHP idea! I believe that one should avoid type casting in general, but there are scenarios when it's needed and having choice between strict and nullable cast is good ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š.

What if #PHP had nullable and non-nullable cast operators? That's what we would like to propose for PHP 8.6 ๐Ÿ‘€ wiki.php.net/rfc/nullable-nโ€ฆ

Go home #MiFitness, you're drunk ๐Ÿ˜‚. I wonder if they are ever going to implement proper support for summer/winter time changes. Every time it happens, the historic data in the app crashes. @Xiaomi ๐Ÿ™.

I disagree. PHP isn't actually slow...at least not compared to other scripting languages. The "PHP is slow" take mostly comes from really old benchmarks or bad setups. It's true that it's not asynchronous by default, but that's also by design and there are upsides to thatโ€ฆ

php has gained a reputation for being slow, and the team doesn't seem to care about that. It is not asynchronous by default. The nomenclature is confusing, it seems that there is still no standard. These things drive people away and they don't even try to get to know it.

NEW ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED ๐Ÿ”“๐Ÿคฏโค๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ!! Honestly, I thought I would need to train this a little bit longer - I started yesterday, and today #muscleup is done ๐Ÿฅณ! It's rough and ugly, but I'm proud anyway. Now I can work on improving the technique and aim for more reps ๐Ÿ’ช. #fitness

Did you know that you can prepare GitHub URLs that point not only to specific line of code, but also to specific part of it? Just add anchor in `L2C14-L2C28` format to highlight subpart of line content ๐Ÿ˜Š! Great way to point out some typo, bad wording or the most important part.

Yesterday #ChatGPT wasted few hours of my life/work suggesting many approaches to fix Backstage test (React), while the actual fix was to add `auth: { environment: 'development' }` to `process.env.APP_CONFIG.data` ๐Ÿ˜ฉ. These tools are so smart & so dumb at the same time.

#Prettier does not have ability to print diff with fixes found in --check mode ๐Ÿ˜ณ. Feature was originally requested in 2018... Do people really apply everything blindly? I know it can be reviewed before committing so it's basically the same, but still... github.com/prettier/prettโ€ฆ

I am soooooo used to #Composer's scripts, that today I wanted to add grouping script (with `@` references to other scripts) in `package.json` file... ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ How #JavaScript/#TypeScript folks can work without this feature?

Today I drove ~900km to bring this little buddy home. It was my wife's and my daughter's dream, and if life isn't about fulfilling these, then I don't know what it's about ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ˜…. Tired, but happy! #tearsofjoy #bordercollie
