He calls for a political revolution. His tax that would cut the wealth of billionaires in half in the next 15 years and raise trillions of dollars. The goal is "to break up the concentration of wealth and power" in this upper class (from his campaign website).

$41 billion. That's how much Jeff Bezos has seen his wealth go up in the past 5 weeks. Meanwhile, his Amazon employees are putting their lives at risk in warehouses across the country. This is what a rigged economy is about, and why we need a political revolution.

Sanders has been one of the most active politicians to stand up against Amazon's practices. He does not stray away from recognizing the root of the problem, which he believes lies in economic and social injustices.

I find it reprehensible that Amazon is firing employees who speak out against unsafe working conditions during this horrific pandemic. These workers will not be silenced.

U.S. billionaires increased their wealth by 10% since the #COVID19 pandemic began, with Jeff Bezos earning $25 billion, @IPS_DC reports. At the same time, at least 26 million Americans have lost their jobs and Amazon employees continue to protest for sick pay & workplace safety.
