It’s always fulfilling to see a player you rated before they signed, perform exactly how you thought they would when they put on the shirt.
Makes me agree with the feeling I’ve been having that most of the nitpicking with Gyokeres is down to the fact that you never wanted him. If he was a player you wanted, I promise you will see the positives. When you watch him to see the positives, you will and vice versa.
I don’t consider it nitpicking, all he’s done is confirm a lot of the issues I had with him before he signed. I think it’s the other way around, you have to squint to see the positives he brings. The things he was good at in Sporting, he’s not really showing it either.
