For my movie this week, I have chosen "The Mothman Prophecies". This is one of my favorite movies but its also a great sci-fi film. #WVUITPC

@Nick_681 Agreed! This quote is so powerful and really made me realize that we are all just dust in the wind basically. #WVUITPC

Really enjoyed the ending because it seemed like it symbolized the ending of mankind as we know it & things will never be the same. #WVUITPC

The main theme in the book so far is loneliness. I get slightly nervous thinking about how I would feel in the same situation. #WVUITPC

So far Earth Abides is very interesting. It makes me think that an apocalypse isn't as far-fetched as we sometimes think. #WVUITPC

"The Paper Menagerie" was extremely sad. This story uses real life issues to bring out deep emotions and connections in the reader. #WVUITPC

@NickOxendale I agree. The symbolism made it somewhat difficult to hard to grasp, but it ultimately made the story unique to read. #WVUITPC

As someone who has never seen Game of Thrones, I found the Way of Cross and Dragon difficult at first but ultimately interesting. #WVUITPC

@DarkLordMicah agreed! I thought it was very good.

@DarkLordMicah I chose Alien as well, it will be interesting to see if our opinions on it differ or are similar. #WVUITPC

@Nick_681 Interesting! I didn't know there was a Slaughterhouse Five movie. I enjoyed the book, so I guess I'll watch the movie. #WVUITPC

I chose the 1979 movie "Alien". I had always heard about this movie and was interested to watch. It was different than expected. #WVUITPC

The character of Charlie Gordon really inspired me because he kept trying even when people treated him like he was inferior. #WVUITPC

@DarkLordMicah I agree. The imagery really made the story come to life for me and I felt more connected to it. #WVUITPC

@Chrisjwhite_70 I couldn't either! Eckles seemed very nervous for someone who just paid $10,000 to be able to hunt dinosaurs. #WVUITPC

The April Witch had magical imagery which made me feel like I was actually within the story while I was reading it. #WVUITPC

Eckles seemed overwhelmed with everything around him; the dinosaurs, the time-traveling, and the shooting as well. #WVUITPC

@DarkLordMicah I noticed this as well, maybe they were made to look like humans to show that they aren't too different from us #WVUITPC

Even though the book had vivid examples of imagery, the movie clips brought things to life that my mind had trouble picturing #WVUITPC

I think Wells uses the animals as a symbol of how the people feel. They seem like they are scared and clueless about what to do. #WVUITPC
