He can do that. There's a lot he doesn't know, so every conversation is a learning curve for him. He's happy to have the conversation. No more drinking. No more stronger.

Well - that's something that he can relate to. Maybe they could talk about things that don't matter - that's still a productive distraction.
He doesnโt shut up usually, but he doesnโt tend to talk about things that matter. Heโs just sick of not having anywhere that feels safe. That feels like home.
Anything that needs to be talked about? He's a pretty good listener - even to drunk people.

He likes to think that he was at some point - but doctors think it would only worsen his memory, so he's steering clear from it for now. He doesn't recommend head trauma - then you're in the same boat he's in. What's the distraction needed from?
