I need to get out of here. I'm omatt elsewhere. Hope to see you there.
45 quid. This wasn't the most expensive thing I saw, but the one that really struck me. I mean... It's Californication. For 45 quid.
Absolutely loving the new album by Cassandra Jenkins and I was lucky enough to get one of the 2-disc editions. @CassFreshUSA
I make no apologies for "Bad Young Brother" by Derek B being my immediate instinctive answer to this question. Whenever my 11 or 6 year old ask for their Adidas trainers I cannot help but recite "We wear fresh fly Adidas, not Nike, they're wack". The song lives in my head.
This was in the sleeve of one of the Ruthless Rap Assassins 12s. Wtf?
Not a bad little haul from the local chazza this afternoon while the ladies were having their hair cut. £1 each for these 12"s. 2 x Ruthless Rap Assassins, a Kiss AMC and a Kym Mazelle produced by Marshall Jefferson.

If experimental/ambient/electronic/drone etc is your thing, this from @heavycloudhaze was released today and I'd very much recommend it. eustresstapes.bandcamp.com/album/unfold-o…

A couple of recent deliveries. The contents were as you'd expect.
When Lost in the Dream by the War on Drugs came out and it got Q's album of the year, I didn't quite get it. 10 years older and wiser, I've gone back to them now and went to see them live in Liverpool last Tuesday. I really don't know how I missed what a great band they are.
My first time at Castlefield Bowl last night. Watched Suede from near the front and the Manics from up on the hill. Both bands absolutely smashed it, and I even managed to sit down for a bit. A massive win.
I'm after a book to read on holiday and I fancy something about the emergence and history of house music. I'm thinking that this looks good. Any other recommendations? amzn.eu/d/045bRqxO
15 years ago I left Glastonbury as Blur were taking to the stage on Sunday night, convinced it would take too long to get out of the car park if I stayed until the end. I got home at 4.30, went to bed, got up at 6.30 and went to work. I was zero use to anyone that day.
