Capturing #Pittsburgh this morning was like capturing a whole bunch of paintings. The snow covered trees and rooftops made for some absolutely incredible views, like this one of the South Side Slopes under blueish/purple skies. Definitely my favorite image of the recent snowfall.
This may be my new favorite Christmas image of #Pittsburgh. Using a flash to illuminate the falling snow, I captured this view early this morning of the Horne's Tree glowing bright, in a scene that looks more like a Christmas painting than a photograph. More to come like this.
A little color for ya on this dreary morning. While I had one camera set up to capture wide angle views of #Pittsburgh during this crazy sunrise last week, I had another one focused on tighter crops of downtown. The silhouette of the city never disappoints against a colorful sky.
A few more images of the 'blue moon' in #Pittsburgh last night. I decided to shoot more wide angle images that I normally do, to showcase the city as a whole and not just focus on the moon at a super telephoto focal length. The setting sun gave the city a perfect warm glow.
