We showcased our new @PLNU_MSKIN pitching lab to the @Padres and other local baseball enthusiasts in an open house yesterday. While we demo’d a few cool “toys” c/o @qualisysab & @theiamarkerless, the lab’s best asset is our team of 5tool @plnu grad students! 💪🏽⚾️

Last night in my @PLNU_MSKIN biomechanics class, student teams were asked to analyse the kinematics and kinetics of their assigned ⚾️ pitcher. Not all of them plan to work in baseball, but it’s good practice of interpreting and translating 3D motion data.
