Most picture book adaptations have the worst prose, but this one was pretty good! Varied sentence structure, still some soul. Beautiful illustrations. One major complaint
my hair & skin are so nice during pregnancy. i basically don’t have to wash my hair and it will stay clean for up to a week. my skin has no pimples & don’t use any special serums. when i’m not pregnant i have hormonal acne & my hair looks greasy daily. it’s not all terrible!
i wish more people w easy pregnancies would post about it, i hate that it's considered rude to tell anyone when you're having a good time doing something some people have a bad time with. it's good that people are different, it's important to hear about it

In general I a an adherent of improving wherever you are, wherever you live, slowly but constantly. "sunk cost" is a false god. If you pay too much attention to that you'll never improve anything at all.

bolognese prep day. husband introduced this routine last year, he makes a giant batch and bags up 500g 2-person portion to freeze, we eat 1 a week and get a weeknight off from cooking. one batch does ~12 double servings (got 13 today) so only needs prepping quarterly
just put together and ordered a photo book from our wedding in 2023. so many good photos but this one is by far my favorite.
just thought about how i’m probably going to ride a jet ski this summer and got super excited

pretty cute that my 8mo really did get her two front teeth for christmas
making 2 lasagnas this week. one vegetarian for a friend who just had a baby and one with meat for my family. first time using my FIL's special recipe. Claude helped me edit to make veggie version. wish me luck.
