Had the classic crypto opportunity/ Bitcoin only vs alt coins conversation with a random gentleman at the airport this evening. He had been in crypto for ~ 3yrs, post FTX hangz, (one way, one eyed) a dangerous amount of knowledge, and there are many like him.

🏁I’d flagged earlier that BTC’s run to $125K was fuelled by short squeezes rather than fresh capital, so the rejection at highs and move into consolidation wasn’t a surprise.
Nobody…… Me: Lots of people talking about “cool things” or “cool concepts” , I often agree that they are indeed interesting however the majority I have seen are not viable. Makes for a good Twitter or LinkedIn post for a day or two but it won’t put food on the table. A.M.A
None of these people seem to care that Bitcoin is hitting all-time highs right now. 🫡 ✈️up. #Bitcoin
