Fantastic night in Norwich to see @StornowayBand. On the way up we played a game of ‘clod or hare’. And we spotted about six hares. We usually just spot clods of earth 🤭
Any ideas what this is, disguised against the fence?
Took advantage of late night opening @EssexWildlife Fingringhoe Wick last night. Amazing to be surrounded by the song of so many nightingales. But what is making this knocking noise by Kit’s Pond?
Spotted my first orange tip butterfly in my new-ish garden yesterday. I’ve deliberatively left garlic mustard for them.
A morning of jobs you wish you hadn’t started. Cleared out the shed and found this. Does anyone have any idea what this is?
Goodnight sweet prince. When you were on the pitch you gave everything. Sometimes you would leave the pitch, to take a shit, or fight someone. But you always came back. You are fully COYS and we love you
There are some interesting goings on in the garden. Spotted a bank vole last week and now some mystery poo has turned up. Does anyone have any ideas? Smells awful and is about 4cm long.
The first #Essex #greatcoastalbirdwatch is coming! By taking part you’ll increase your knowledge of the awesome, internationally important coastal birds in your #local area, contribute to valuable data collection, & learn how to become more bird aware! birdaware.org/essex/great-co…
Three become four in the breakaway as @ProteamTFB’s Alex Colman bridges across to the leaders approaching Burnham-on-Crouch. #TourOfBritain🔴🔵⚪️
This is the biggest long shot of my life. But I simply have to try. Please, please share this. You just never know what might happen 🙏🏻 Can you possibly help @Se_Railway @RingGo_parking @kent_police & let me know what forms to fill in please. I’d be so very grateful.
I was lucky enough to win tickets to the BBC Gardeners’ World Autumn Fair. Not sure I’ve ever seen so many house martins in one place 💚
Any #caterpillar experts out there? Found these caterpillars and initially thought large white but now wondering if they’re toadflax moths as I think the plant is purple toadflax #mothid
Another new moth in the garden. I think it’s a small dusty wave but corrections welcome! #mothid #ukmoths
Spotted these caterpillars munching on the garlic mustard I left for them. Think they’re large whites. Another first in my new-build garden.
Fairly interesting train journey today. Lots of butterflies on Buddleia, painted lady on the tracks, plus buzzard, kestrel, lapwings and three hares. No Monty’s when we passed BHF sadly.
