PewDiePie in 2025: – built a 10×4090 rig – runs Llama 70B, gpt-oss-120B & Qwen 245B locally via vLLM – built a custom web UI (chat, RAG, search, TTS) – ran protein-folding simulations for charity – created an AI “council”, a swarm of 64 models – now fine-tuning his own model…

I am looking for a full-time job. Being independent in open source for 3.5+ years has been wonderful. I've gotten done most of the high-level goals I wanted to, and miss having people & structure around me. If you know of a staff TypeScript+web developer role, let me know! 🙂
if i were like, a sports star or an artist or something, and just really cared about doing a great job at my thing, and was up at 5 am practicing free throws or whatever, that would seem pretty normal right? the first part of openai was unbelievably fun; we did what i believe is…
Stop doing this. Stop trying to drive hatred of Hikaru by slandering him for engagement bait. It's morally dishonest and only brings the entire sport down. Idk why these are popping up on my feed but it's disgusting and needs to be called out.
I was a little afraid to say this but I'm glad people are so understanding. For those that are still not convinced and think it wouldn't have changed anything if Vishy or others had said a few words, please watch this video. At least speak now. @chessdom @vishy64theking
I might get hate for this but. Vishy, I can understand your reluctance to comment on certain topics but for what it's worth, you are the FIDE Deputy President. Why have you been silent on Kramnik's blatant harassment campaigns? Danya, David, both pleaded FIDE to take action. 🙏

Really shocked at the passing away of GM. Daniel Naroditsky. An excellent chess commentator and educator . A genuinely nice person. A life gone too soon. My deepest condolences to his family. The chess world will miss his presence.
Unimaginable tragedy. A great person, chess player and chess history connoisseur. I could listen do Danya for hours just effortlessly bending the English language to his will - as a fellow content creator, I admired it greatly. R.I.P.
The Naroditsky family shares the sad news of Daniel’s unexpected passing. Daniel was a talented chess player, educator, and beloved member of the chess community. We ask for privacy as the family grieves.
I’ve been quiet because I didn’t know how to put this into words. I heard the news about Danya early yesterday morning, and I still can’t believe he’s gone. I’ve known Danya since we were kids. We became real friends in college, and over the years I had the privilege of working…
In watching the clip below of Danya's last stream and hearing the pain in his voice, how deeply the baseless accusations affected him, I am left so mad at what we all allowed to happen right in front of us. It's time to stop worrying about the backlash. I am calling on the FIDE…
Utterly devastated.
20 years old and yet more balls of steel than most top players. Criticise Vladimir Kramnik all you want, but please also remember that his misguided crusade against chess cheating with wonky statistics has silent approval of a few top players which emboldens the bast**d.
Completely heartbroken. Daniel was not just someone I played thousands of games with on @chesscom and @lichess - he was a brilliant mind and a gifted teacher. (1/3) @ChessbaseIndia @FIDE_chess @CLTchesscenter @chesscom_in @chessdom

I'm deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Danya Every time I logged into Chess.com, I would see his challenge for a game , It’s hard to believe that I won’t see it anymore. My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.

This is absolutely devastating. Danya was an amazing friend and role model not only for myself, but for so many in the chess community. My deepest condolences to his family, friends, and everyone who knew him. You’ll be dearly missed, Danya. Rest in peace.
