What I like about vibe coding is that it is a lens rather than a tool. You don't just create a product, you create everything with it.. Don't know how to ask precisely, generate prompts. Missing tool - you can vibe code it too. Even the tool that would be generating you prompts.
- be us - Larry & Sergey - at Stanford with a crawler and a dream - accidentally organize the entire internet - call it Google - build search, email, maps, docs, OS, phones, browser, car, satellite, thermostat, AI lab, TPU farm, and quantum computer - 2025 - everyone talking…

Today on how to solve the 16 KB page limit problem for native libraries: - email: "Hey, is this functionality still used or needed?" - reply: "no, those functionalities aren't used anymore and can be safely removed" Much easier than rebuilding WebRTC for Android using NDK R28
Google shocked the world. They solved the code security nightmare that's been killing developers for decades. DeepMind's new AI agent "Codemender" just auto-finds and fixes vulnerabilities in your code. Already shipped 72 solid fixes to major open source projects. This is…

Vibe coding reminds me of Rick Rubin, who can't play any musical instruments properly, but is considered as the one of the best who understands music
Vibe coding is irresponsibly building software through dice rolls, not caring what code is produced What about when engineers at the top of their game use AI tools responsibly to accelerate their work? I propose "vibe engineering"!
No wonder iTerm2 is so bloated. They just added a web browser inside the terminal. Who asked for this? Empty iTerm2 window now uses 400MB of RAM :(

Uptime of 88 days of a personal laptop used daily is a good sign of Mac
We need square devices - tablets, 1:2 foldables, doesn't matter. It is not as hard as converting inches to centimetres.
OMGGGG @Apple is FINALLY doing a square sensor on the selfie camera. This would be game changing for video. Just gimme a 3840 x 3840 video file and the ability to chose portrait or landscape in post. PLEASE! Why wasn't this done years ago?!
Moar hot colours! It's not a textile industry of 100 years ago with 3 paint colours only.
Lesson learned. Every service you use can go out of business pretty much instantly and you left with nothing. Critical service you use and not physically own the data, is an "tolerable risk" you take, no matter if it's free or subscription based.
Multiple parents of a single commit was never good for traceability. Every merge commit doubles cognitive effort to trace back changes.
I started using `rebase` instead of `merge` and now I understand why people were telling me to use rebase
