Alright, really cooking now… ✅ Pixel-perfect compared to Figma design ✅ Supports light and dark mode ✅ Includes responsive design ✅ Didn't write a single character of code by hand ✅ Was definitely faster than doing it myself Figma MCP server + rules file biggest unlocks.
Oh, and the code is exactly what I would have written by hand, no slop!
Going to keep pushing this a bit more and really refine the rules, then will probably throw them into Tailwind Plus for anyone who wants to try them 👍🏻
Folks, there we have it: Even the creator of Tailwind himself has said the AI is "exactly what I would have written". If you were on the fence with using AI to help develop apps, should be a non-issue now. Does anyone else realize how far we have come? The time is now.
To be clear it wasn't what I would have written until I reviewed and refined the results over a lot of conversing with the LLM, and by putting together an opinionated rules file. But when I was done the results were good and still faster than doing it from scratch!

Yeah 100%, the more you use autolayout for example the better the code will be.

Faster, but by how much? Twice as fast? The mythical 10x? Personally I think it’s somewhere between 50% faster and twice as fast.
