3.34 MILLION copies of that album sold in the first week. diamond certified in less than a year. 5 Grammys. iconic to say the least. adele is the artist of the generation and will go down in history as a classic. she is a legend and she isn't even 30 years old.
but really, all of this in a single era. she really faced all her fears and NAILED it. she gave us some iconic looks and VISUALS. her vocals are really otherworldly. and all the activist work she did throughout that busy time really shows who she is beyond singer/songwriter
and I can't believe I forgot this night. GLOBAL SUCCESS two years in a row!!! and she swept the Brits as well in this iconic outfit. what a night this was.
25 was the most iconic era yet because of this and so much more. adele changed between 21 and 25. she became a mother and she grew up and she matured and she became quite a woman. and I think the album, of course, reflects that perfectly.
and finally, Wembley. an amazing ending to an amazing era. although it wasn't the ending we expected it was a beautiful ending and really captured everything that happened this era.
and then. the most iconic night of them all. Grammys 2017. all 5 she was up for, won. a George Michael tribute that nobody could ever forget. THREE LOOKS. honestly my favorite moment of the whole era. oh and a confirmed marriage as if we didn't get enough that night.
which brought us to the start of the stadium tour. GUYS ADELE REALLY DID THAT. she really faced her biggest career fear and SUCCEEDED with record breaking crowds. the australia/new zealand tour was unbelievable. and this PANTSUIT.
and during that tour we were also given "all I ask" at the Grammys, the Ellen interview where like 10 iconic things happened including this.
and GLASTONBURY. which can best be summed up by this single moment.
and the biggest part of the era was obviously Adele Live 2016. there are not enough characters in a tweet to sum that up. 107 shows. each of which gave us a new memory and something iconic ALWAYS happened. it was THE best thing in every aspect.
honestly every interview she did in that time was iconic. the today show, skavlan, jimmy fallon, xfactor, the BBC special, etc. they all introduced us to this more mature adele and it left us all without our weaves.
the promo for 25 during late 2015 gave us iconic interviews and LOOKS such as this
and the moment we had all been so desperately waiting for arrived. we were not disappointed. the whole world stopped for a day and we all tried to believe adele was a real living breathing human and not some magical being.
and THIS. when we were young is honestly one of her best out of all three albums, and this live performance is also one of her best DESPITE HAVING A COLD. no one else could ever!!
hello. this music video alone would have made this era the most iconic. in my opinion, hello is her best music video although let's be honest adele doesn't have a bad music video
