I don’t think I’ve ever seen a grosser string of words than: 'to develop cutting-edge, capital-efficient content creation opportunities.'
Both somewhat but the second scenario is very real. There are current + former A-Listers out there trying to get projects financed who are having trouble. People also don't talk much about how technology has changed the industry to the point where there is more content than ever.
Film friends (and really this applies to most arts)... Do you think the cream ultimately rises to the crop... Or do you think there's armies of "Tarantinos & Spielbergs" ... who we never get to experience because of bad timing, bad fortune, bad business...?
