This morning, the Trump Administration’s Department of War gave me an ultimatum: call up your troops, or we will. It is absolutely outrageous and un-American to demand a Governor send military troops within our own borders and against our will.
The President made a baseless claim on live tv that a group of Americans eat cats and dogs, and that was deemed appropriate. But now, if a late-night host makes a statement the President disagrees with, that’s bad. Huh. The line’s moving. It feels like a democratic undertow.
