I was a recipient of the award in 2018 and I definitely agree. It’s an amazing resource and really kickstarted my project and funding track record that culminated in a Linkage grant earlier this year.
Great opportunity for screen studies scholars to explore the riches of the AFI Research Collection with the guidance of amazing staff @afirc and the support of Screen & Sound Cultures group @RMIT this Fellowship was a turning point in my career for which I am forever grateful

Prior to the event, guests are encouraged to choose one title from Bilcock’s oeuvre (inc Romeo+Juliet, Muriel’s Wedding, The Dressmaker), and either read the screenplay or watch the film. Feel free to draw on the resources of the @afirc, housed at RMIT’s Swanston Library.
