In my day job I use Laravel yes (at Laravel, the company). Writing Go is fun. It takes you out of your comfort zone if you've been writing PHP for very long but then you discover that it's re-igniting your interest in coding.

I've been writing PHP for over a decade, and only today learned that you can use `namespace` as a reference to the current namespace 🤯

@SevillaFC_ENG How many reposts for tryout with your team?

There is no best framework available, it's always about use case. Nestjs is good for your project but maybe overkill for someone else's

I've been researching on how to go about building a video conference call with realtime translation. The major challenges I have is optimizing the translation speed and handling packet loss. I still have few more papers to read before starting development. #WebRtc #Programming

The average Nigerian software engineer thinks they can do the most, always trying to combine multiple jobs forming remote king when in truth he is just an artisan with a laptop behaving like Nigerian tailors. Now before you foam in the month think well if this tweet applies to…

Laravel community, I’m back on the job market. If you’re seeking a senior dev with a ton of experience (Laravel 12 years, PHP 18 years) DM me. Also, could you do me a solid and retweet this?

Lots of thoughts here, where to begin… 😅 First off, he’s not wrong when he says JS frameworks have a ways to go when it comes to feature parity with Rails or Laravel. AFAIK Redwood does come ootb with Prisma, but neither Remix or Next have any kind of data ORM built in. I…

At the end of the day, the code makes no difference if it written in javascript, ruby, python, php, english or sandscript. It's the end result that matters. If you like one way, good. If you like another, great. It's my biggest pet peeve when people start comparing one thing to…

Just joining now! Just curious, why would you want to master 15 programming languages? It's definitely possible, but what's the end goal?

Abdulsalam Ishaq รีโพสต์แล้ว

At the End of the Day it’s not how many language you know rather it’s about how useful you are If you know 15 Programming languages What and what have you built

Abdulsalam Ishaq รีโพสต์แล้ว

In general, programming languages are similar, so it usually doesn't matter how many languages you know. If you have a strong background in computer science, understand algorithms, OOP and clean code, you can apply your experience to any language

Abdulsalam Ishaq รีโพสต์แล้ว

I think "mastery" isn't actually the goal. Being able to be "productive" with a new language within a relatively short amount of time is the goal. You can only get to that point by learning multiple different languages first.
