This is a really helpful series, especially for those who struggle to see themselves as speakers. You're the expert on your experience and that's worth sharing ... in whatever way works for you.
Speaking is fun and provides a great sense of accomplishment sharing what you've learnt to help other people. However conference speaking isn't necessary to advance your career. Some of the best, most successful people I know don't speak. Don't feel pressured into speaking.
