DAY 33 & 34 #100 Days of Code: We kicked off week-7 learning about React and how it can make front-end programming smoother! We had a look at rendering components and using Babel / JSX.


DAY 32: #100 Days of Code: Friday was another hackathon, we where given an app with lots of bugs and where tasked with using all the testing methods we had learnt throughout the week to fix it up! Thanks @Hyperoptic for the internet dropping mid afternoon🙄 #learningtocode #tech


DAY 31: #100 Days of Code: On Thursday we delved into noSQL and had an employer talk from Couchbase! In the afternoon we put together our own codewars katas for our peers to try and crack. Testing our kata as we pieced it together, of course. #learningtocode #tech #programming


DAY 29 & 30: #100DaysOfCode On Tuesday we looked at Test Driven Development. We created our own failing tests, then fixing them up! Yesterday we had a great talk from Cypress and got to have a play around with the Cypress system in the afternoon. #tech #programming


DAY 28: #100DaysOfCode Yesterday marked the start of Week-6 of the bootcamp. The weeks feel like they are flying by! We looked at how to test our code and the importance of being able to test effectively. #learningtocode #tech #programming


Thursday we created our CRUD routes in JavaScript to work with our PostgreSQL databases. Finally, Friday was another hackathon Friday as always, we used everything we had learnt throughout the week to create our own REST API using node.js and PostgreSQL! #learningtocode #tech


DAY 24, 25, 26 & 27: #100DaysOfCode 4 days in one, last week was a whole other level. Tuesday we continued to build our knowledge of servers and SQL. Wednesday we learnt how to create our own PostgreSQL databases on the cloud using Elephant SQL. #learningtocode #tech #programming


DAY 23: #100DaysOfCode Straight into week 5 yesterday with more back end programming. We got an introduction to databases, SQL and got to have a play around with some basic queries. Seems fairly simple but not holding my breath! #learningtocode #tech #programming


Day 19: #100DaysOfCode Yesterday was a more in depth look into node.js modules such as uuid. Lots of information, brain fried! #learningtocode #tech #programming


Day 18: #100DaysOfCode On Monday we looked at debugging and how to best use error messages to our advantage. We then got our first taste of back end JavaScript using node.js. We practiced importing and exporting modules! #learningtocode #tech #programming


Day 17: #100DaysOfCode Another hackathon Friday to round off week-3! We where tasked with designing our own bootcamp. We had to review user personas and stories, create a user journey flow digram for the webpage and then design our low and high fidelity wireframes on Figma! #tech


Day 16: #100DaysOfCode Day started with a great presentation from Paavan Buddhdev. A great insight into the world of a UI / UX designer. In the afternoon we practiced creating wireframes using Figma. #learningtocode #tech #programming


Day 14 & 15: #100DaysOfCode On Tuesday we spent more time looking at UX. CSS practice in the afternoon! Yesterday focused around User Interface Design. Practiced some wire framing and looked at CSS specificity in the afternoon! #learningtocode


Day 13: #100DaysOfCode Yesterday we looked at the AGILE framework. In the afternoon we learnt about UI and UX! #learningtocode #tech #programming
