#100DaysOfCode #CodeNewbie #AltCampus Random realization: By learning to code you don't just learn how to communicate with computers but the very art of logic itself, of how to think. By learning to code today, you're standing on the shoulders of thousands of developers... (1/4)
Day 18-19 #100DaysOfCode ⭕️ Solved a bunch of problems as part of our #javascript course @AltCampus. ⭕️ Explored the WebExtension API. Trying to add context menu options for a browser extension I'm building. First encounter with official documentation 😅
A big 🧵 of free web development resources ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Day 16-17 #100DaysOfCode ⭕ Continued with @BiancaGando 's Fundamentals to Functional JS course on @FrontendMasters ⭕ Understood the intrecacies of Scope, Hoisting and how #javascript code is executed internally, super interesting session by @nnnkit #AltCampus #CodeNewbie
D14-15 #100DaysOfCode Continued working on a chrome extension. Started reading the Objects chapter from Javascript.info, clarifying concepts that I skipped over the first time. Here's another interesting snippet from the most interesting chapter of JSInfo. #CodeNewbie
D13 #100DaysOfCode Spent some time practising array methods on @codewars. Also started working on a simple chrome extension. First attempt at building something that might be actually useful for someone, feels very different than building something purely to learn. #AltCampus
Day 12 #100DaysOfCode Worked and reworked a simple DOM practice app; getting back in the #javascript zone! When coding: 1) understand the problem 2) articulate the solution in your human language, preferably on paper. 3) code Repeat until you can think in code, then skip #2
Development is like martial arts. Practicing your foundations in HTML, CSS, and JS is always a good idea no matter what level you are on. 🔥 Wax on, wax off 🔥
We seek so much to perfect our technical interview skills, or understanding of languages and frameworks. But while... 🥋 "Knowledge will give you power, building your character will gain you respect." 🥋 Working on your soft skills is thus just as important as your hard skills
Day 11 #100DaysOfCode After braking for a couple days, got back to #javascript today, went through the first three sections of javascript.info. There's a chapter called Ninja Code, by far the best thing I read today! 😂 javascript.info/ninja-code
For the last few days that I missed tweeting.. here's what I'd been working on! #100DaysOfCode #AltCampus
Day 7 of #100DaysOfCode Here is our final project on HTML-CSS. It describes the journey of our institute @altcampus from scratch. Thanks to @akshat_coding @manish_kushare and @devika_misra who were my teammates in this project. Hope u all like it. #altcampus
Day 9️⃣ #100DaysOfCode Spent today working with animations, transforms and animations. Finally figured out how to control CSS effects using #javascript!! Using it to create a fancy animation effect for the hero section. Will share a video soon! #AltCampus #CodeNewbie
Day 8 #100DaysOfCode 👩💻 Spent the day learning about and implementing some animations and transitions for an #HTML #CSS project @AltCampus. Might be aiming too high, but there's no learning like learning under pressure. Should have something to show in a day or two! 🖖
Brilliant software.. almost exactly what I'd imagine as the perfect tool for managing all notes and projects in one place.. was blown away by the variety of features.
Yet another @NotionHQ appreciation tweet, but just WOW 🤯 ... and I'm pretty sure I've hardly scratched the surface
Day 7 #100DaysOfCode - Continued with @jen4web 's CSS Flexbox and Grid course on @FrontendMasters . - Learnt the basic BASH commands, Git and Github - Started working on a large-ish HTML-CSS group project as part of our course at @AltCampus. Exciting days ahead :D #CodeNewbie
Spent the weekend almost entirely away from the laptop. Did feel kinda guilty for not continuing the daily streak but also realised how important it is to pace oneself, take time, unwind & most importantly: to come back charged! How do you recharge? #100DaysOfCode #CodeNewbie
Day 6 #100DaysOfCode - Continued with @jen4web 's FlexBox and Grid course on @FrontendMasters. Looks like I'll soon be done with the Beginners Learning path :D - Made another responsive layout using grid.
Day5: #100DaysOfCode Finished studying CSS Grid Continued with @BiancaGando 's JS Fundamentals to Functional course on @FrontendMasters Started building the layout for a personal portfolio website. Played with CSS animations a bit; definitely something I want to explore more!
#Day4 #100DaysOfCode Went through the CSS Grid course by @wesbos today, finished with making a responsive image gallery. Can't wait to get some more practice. Also, loved the @FirefoxDevTools for Grid! @mozilla is awesome!
#Day3 #100DaysOfCode Finished making this responsive template design. Used HTML-CSS, with a bit of JS for the header and hamburger menu. Took me 3 days to do 3 hrs worth of work; will never doubt the importance of clean code again! #CodeNewbie
