Back to the Dallas game. So much to like from structure for JJ McCarthy. Poise, subtle pocket movement, decision making. His efficiency from the pocket went up against Washington and he carried that forward.
JJ McCarthy’s instincts, decision making, and overall operation of the offense grew so much over the last month of his play. I feel really good about his future. Unfortunately Minnesota media would have you believe the sky is falling.
Never ever discount what's been accomplished over the last five weeks. A lot of teams would have said my offseason starts now. But this team committed to work, committed to staying the course and it's a testament to the men in this room.
They have to stop looking at his personality as a problem. A QB with this much confidence at a young age is unique, especially with all the ups and downs of this season. His personality can lift up a lot of players. It’s what allows him play better with the game on the line.
