⚡️Electricity Market Reform⚡️Expect 6th of July to be a crucial day. 👉The Parliament wants to finalize its compromise amendements on that date. 👉At the Council the working party on energy will discuss the reform, this will enable the presidency to plan the next steps

Ambassadors meeting (Coreper 1) starts at 2pm. Expect Electricity Market to take center stage. Pessimism ahead of the meeting. Solutions « still not mature yet » said a diplomat to @Contexte 🇫🇷 regrets that CfDs are still seen as giving a competitive advantage to nuclear.
Today ambassadors were only "informed" by the presidency that 🇸🇪 keeps the ambition to find a general approach before the end of its mandate. And that the remaining issue to solve was CFD applied to existing (nuclear) plants.
