Cofounder @Linklet_io & CutTheQ — shortening links, skipping queues. Full-stack | Cloud | Native Engineer. — http://linklet.io
Hey 👋 I’m Ammar — a CS undergrad senior & fullstack cloud native developer. I'm a Co-founder of @Linklet_io, a powerful link management platform, & CutTheQ, an online food-ordering application. Big fan of clean UIs, messy terminals, and side projects that get out of hand.
Do you think it's important for a website to have a dark mode?
What was your first ever React project? (Not counting guides or tutorials) Here's mine: redir.ing/super-tic-tac-… It's a realtime multiplayer game. Built it a few years ago while still figuring things out (you could probably find ways to break it... feel free to try and do so!)
How do you decide which framework to use? Next.js, TanStack Start, Astro… do you go by SSR, flexibility, DX, speed? Curious how people pick between all these options these days.
How long did it take you to get your 10 users? (Friends & family don't count)
⏳Waiting in line sucks. At my university, the cafeteria queues were a daily struggle. So a few of us teamed up & built CutTheQ, an online-ordering app for the campus cafeteria🍔. What began as a student project is now giving hundreds a faster, more convenient experience!🚀
Before working on @Linklet_io, I thought link tracking was just for marketing, but it’s crazy useful for personal use too. I just converted every link on my resume to a Linklet. Now I can track who's clicking and what sections employers are actually interested in. #startup #SaaS
Didn’t think I’d care about link tracking until I realized how useful it is even outside of work. Resume? Portfolio? Event invite? Kinda nice knowing if someone actually clicked. I've been using @Linklet_io for all of it. Try it now at redir.ing/linklet
Super excited to see @Linklet_io featured on @BetaList today! Appreciate everyone who’s been trying it out and sending feedback. 🧪 Try it: redir.ing/BetaList #marketingtools #analytics #SaaS #linkshortener #buildinpublic #growthtools #RealTimeData #startup #indiehacker
Before Linklet: “Where are these clicks even coming from?” After Linklet: “Oh cool, 73 from the newsletter, 41 from Discord, 12 from my mom.” @Linklet_io — redir.ing/linklet
If I had a dollar for every time I needed to change a link after posting... That’s why editable links matter. Built them into @Linklet_io so you don’t sweat a typo — linklet.io

Craft. Brand. Analyze. A friendly link management and analytics tool.
Thought building SaaS was mostly code and launch... turns out it’s 10% product, 90% trying to explain why it’s worth clicking. Still loving every part of it though. Check out what I’m building @Linklet_io -> redir.ing/linklet #SaaS #buildinpublic #startups #indiehackers
All businesses need to track where their traffic comes from. It’s how you measure what’s working. UTMs are special tags added to URLs that help you do exactly that, showing you which post, ad, or email drove the visit. The downside? You end up with links like this:…
