State PTA Conf: WOW! So much energy and brains and inspiration. Still digesting it all. Lots to do, but lots of resources too.
Lots of chalenges in education these days (think Oakland & elsewhere) but I'm planning for lots of positive energy at the PTA Conf in Sac.
Getting ready for State PTA Convention in Sacramento on Thur! Lots of powerful and commited people working to support schools, kids . . .
CA PTA has come out w/positions on 26 bills under discussion which affect the 9 mil kids in CA. www.capta.org & click on "Legislation"
Tomorrow, Thur. 4/22, join us for Open House at AMS, 7-8 p.m. Incoming 6th grade orientation mtg. from 6-7. Look for the AMS PTA!
Today CA Senate Education Committee will hear SB955 which would gut teachers’ due process rights and protections against discrimination.
