after struggling for years with doing anything consistently, in the last 6 months i've integrated several practices into my life. the basic move has been, "solve for doing this every day." the cheat codes have been: doing things socially, with some reward, every day
a secret key to improvement here has been that for two of these things i'm working with people who are better than me at that domain, and i'm grateful to them. @andrew0blevins is an incredible meditation teacher and coach and i highly recommend working with him.
