Thanks to North Oxford Trees and Gardens for their amazing crown reduction of our cherished Horse Chestnut - our Span estate was built around it after Tolkien stopped it from being felled. Props to their working Landies too - not fashion accessories!
Rather moving memorial at London Paddington today 11/11
Didn't like the way this @JDVance1 bloke (newly picked as #Trump's running mate) slagged off the UK lately. Looked into him. Not great. Made a parody song inspired by @ABBA called "Vance VP" 🎶 Shout out #americast (@BBCsarahsmith/@awzurcher) & @RestIsPolitics for ℹ️ profiles 👍

Sad about Benjamin Zephaniah. I was already a fan when he opened a Hackney housing scheme I’d been job architect for in 93. He read out a poem he’d written about it - wish I’d kept it. He was funny humble and warm but punched hard politically R.I.P.
A moving poem from @brian_bilston. Read it down. Then read it up. Expand your circle of empathy…

Today, the Government has introduced a Bill to progress the creation of a national Holocaust Memorial for the UK. Its location next to Parliament will give the Holocaust the prominence it deserves, serving as a powerful reminder of where prejudice can lead if unchallenged.
