These people want to abolish DC's local government but don't know the first thing about us. There is no such thing as the "DC DoJ", and it is the President's hand-picked U.S. Attorney who prosecutes adult crimes in DC. Yet these people think they should rule over us

Let's flip this around: Opposing Trump's attempts to take over cities is a political winner. National Democrats can protect DC and advance their re-elections too--it's a win-win!
Trump moving the national guard into cities is a political loser. ~60% of Americans oppose it. Why? Voters don't buy Trump's argument over crime. Instead, they say Trump's taken his eye off the ball with too much focus on putting troops in cities & not enough on lower prices.
First they tried to rewrite the laws in DC in line with their far right agenda, then NYC, now Chicago. Democrats have to stick together against these attacks on blue cities. If we don’t hang together, our cities will all hang separately
