This is no act of intellectual integrity—it is pious pretense, thinly veiled. The New Testament offers contradictory paths to salvation: Paul says faith alone suffices, denying the law’s role (Gal. 2:21), while Matthew insists strict obedience to the law is required (Matt. 5:20).

The Bible contains 1,189 chapters across its 66 books.. AND NOT ONE SINGLE CONTRADICTION! Truly God breathed.

I have wondered lately what people think about possible "starting points" of everything. Can our world possibility come from: Perfect order -> now. Absolute chaos -> now. Either -> now. Neither -> now. If you feel like it, do explain your reasoning.

It is an existential crisis!

I'm not sure I'm particularly witty, I'm more of a philosophy enthusiast than a philosopher and I've not really got involved much theistic/creationist content in a long time... I'm surprised it failed to pick up on the "own side" evaluations too... x.com/i/grok/share/7…

@OppyGraham finds Everitt’s book engaging and well-written. Despite minor flaws (e.g., a claim about Hawking), he sees it as valuable and recommends it for upper-level courses on the philosophical debate over whether God exists. academia.edu/23446393/revie…
