In AP due to Montha cyclone the Agri Director Dr Manjeer Jilani Samoon IAS has issued posters to field officers outlining immediate measures to help revive the affected crops such as paddy, cotton, maize, sugarcane,groundnut , redgram, blackgram and greengram across the state.

Today @ AP Director of Agrl Dr Manazir Jeelani Samoon IAS participated in a meeting at Secretariat with Sri Rajiv Chawla IAS Sri Samartha ram of Agristock ,GOI ,senior officials of AP to finalize the operational procedures for assigning Unique Farmer IDs to tenant farmers.

Sri Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon, IAS, assumes charge as Director of Agriculture, Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday, 14th October 2025 at the Directorate . Officers from the Department congratulated him on assuming office Later DoA Sir held a detailed review meeting with officers .
