Nice to get out for another ride. Cows find motorcycles strange the way they stare at it.
Lovely ride through Lincs today. Here’s me and pylon L44523, who's holding up the Cottam-Whalpole high voltage transmission line as we both contemplate our existential existence together. Or something..
Took my bike in for its service today. Got given a loan bike which was the new Tiger 900. Very impressed I have to say, love the engine note and acceleration..
Since I can’t get out on the motorbike cycling is the next best thing. Gentle amble along the Trent Valley.
Grabbed a can of ale out of the cupboard, went down very nicely. Looked at the expiry date at the bottom...oh dear 😬

Well..was due to fly back today from here in Aberdeen to Birmingham with FlyBe. Looks like I’ll be driving the 400 miles instead 😬

The level of litter in Britain is ridiculous now. A lot of roadsides are a mess. This is a lay-by near Handsworth, Sheffield.
Went swimming today. Why do they feel the need to turn it into a watery nightclub? They have music now blasting out of speakers. How can one concentrate on one’s stroke with that racket going on.
