Whenever you ask somebody to give feedback on your writing, tell them to follow the acronym CRIBS. It stands for confusing, repeated, interesting, boring, and surprising. Here's my mini-article.
Avoid the 3 monsters: perfection monster (tells you it's not perfect yet, symptom is procrastination), advice monster (quick to prescribe w/o complete understanding of the problem), & the people pleaser monster (seeks the validation of others: parents, peers, professors).
