So my first game ‘Linky Blocks’ launched on the App Store. It’s completely in house and a wild departure for me. Would appreciate some feedback, or a retweet or 2! Thanks! apps.apple.com/gb/app/linky-b… #iosdev #indie #mobilegame #RT

For as long as it's current - get help navigating the bewildering EHCP process on our free blog - kidsot.substack.com We're watching the current news on this with great interest- it's quite literally the education lifeline for some children. #ehcp #occupationaltherapy #send

Morning. Few months away from social media. I trust everyone is doing well!

Weird app tvOS app review rejection a few weeks back - apparently my store image and app icon looked completely different and would lead to user confusion. Reviewer then attached the app icon and the topshelf image to the rejection #iosdev #tvos 🫠

Any UK/Euro #iosdev picking up a Vision Pro in the next few weeks, despite recent news that Apple are changing their approach the successor?

Anybody else plan on not using any of the iOS18 home customization features? #ios18 #iosdev

Finally come out of my work bubble and (trying) to catch up on the WWDC sessions!

Some utterly horrific customised iOS18 home screens doing the rounds on X. Ick

Currently torn between looking at new shiny #wwdc24 toys, or progressing my all devouring project

I forgot my Logitech mouse at work and am having to use my backup Magic Mouse today. Note to self: Don't forget your mouse again. This thing is awful.

Need to get home and give the indie apps some love. It's amazing how they drop down the lists without regular watering.

A few weeks of SwiftUI, now back to a UIKit project. The control is fantastic, but debugging autolayout is such a chore. Back to visiting wtfautolayout.com 12 times a day!

Had my 14 year old son in for work experience yesterday and gave him a dip into SwiftUI. He’s been walking around the house talking about HStack & VStack all morning. He might have caught the coding bug. Let’s see! #iosdev

Can any US based #iosdev source me a Vision Pro developer strap?

🚀 My new course on building a portfolio piece w/ SwiftUI, HealthKit, Swift Charts, and source control is now available. RT's appreciated :) Link in replies.

I was NOT awake in the shower this morning. I washed my hair. Nothing wrong with that, but I’ve been bald for 4 years.

You know those metal armored iPhone cases? The impenetrable ones? This is my son’s iPhone case after 12 months..

Good response about failed apps - ‘failed’ seems so final, I’d rather keep them live and label them as ‘underperforming’ but the term ‘failed app’ comes up quite often.

Hey @seanallen_dev - do you have a ko-fi account or similar so I can buy you a coffee? I feel guilty using your 12 hour SwiftUI course for free, it's excellent - especially with the UIKit slant

App devs! How do you know/decide when to consider one of your apps as 'failed' ? #iosdev #buildinpublic
