Three and a half years ago, I wrote up my personal mission statement and values. I revisited them today and they still hold 100% true. I expect to say the same thing in 50 years. Please share yours below 👇

The inevitable consequence is that employers will rely more and more on internal referrals - this is the main reason I’ve built @warmerjobs

In 1995, the average person consumed 1.5 KB of data/day. In 2025, that number is 74 GB. Software may be eating the world, but sometimes it should be eaten in small bytes. It's an honor to have lent my voice to @krazamtv's movement. Full song available on their Patreon soon.

How did you land your most recent job?

My take, long-term: as AI spray-and-pray apps get better, cold applications will be a worse signal for who will actually be a good employee, and companies will rely even *more* on internal referrals to find good people

We’re about to realize just how many processes were only functional by injecting tiny little bits of friction into many people’s lives

Michael's empathy, integrity, and get-things-done mentality will help SF reach its full potential. Excited he's running for the board of supervisors.

Last weekend, I gathered with 200+ family, friends, & neighbors to make an announcement. An announcement rooted in my family's story, and the story of so many immigrant families who moved to the US to seek a better life. I'm running for the SF Board of Supervisors this Nov! 🧵

I’m running for office for San Francisco DCCC on March 5th, 2024! In the city where ppl are building AI & longevity drugs, it's crazy that the basics don't work: Streets are unsafe New housing is blocked We don't teach 8th grade algebra I'm running to change SF 🧵

I bet it goes to 90% if they do granny style

Interesting trend from the Korean Basketball League where a number of players are 80%+ from the free throw line shooting exclusively bank shots.

I've started thinking of small grocery store purchases as buying the *option* to eat something, rather than the thing itself. For example, I bought $3 of "the option to eat zucchini" a week ago. I never ate it, and it went bad, so I threw it out. In the past, I would have

A @got_users client just closed a $250K deal from a funnel tweak that took about 30 seconds of work. All they did was add a clear call-to-action at the end of a podcast episode. That's it. You can experiment anywhere in your funnel. The hard part is knowing where to focus.
