Halloween is almost here. We’re all witnesses to the torrid love affair between candy and corn which gave us candy corn.
Somehow managed to miss the New York State title for my car issued in 2020 when I moved there for residency (it’s a 2016 model) has odometer listing of over 500K miles. I found out today when I tried to transfer title to Virginia. lol
First week as an attending.. Colleagues are great: friendly & supportive. Continuing to learn a lot, which I’ve heard is the case as you transition to attending-hood. Even though they were not my attendings as a resident, still feels weird to call them by first names. 😱😱
Graduated residency less than a month ago and I’m already sleeping in until 6:15 am. Nature is healing 🌳🌿
Moved into new home on 7/1. It’s nice having a Metro stop within walkable distance. 👍
Last day of residency was today. I’m on vacation next week. Time to pack up and move out. On to attendinghood 🎉🎉

Less than 90 days to go. Less considering I have two weeks of vacation. Almost there (and getting ready for the ABA Advanced).
Registered for ABA Advanced exam today ahhh it’s getting real. (Second part of our board certification process for non-anesthesiologists out there)

Medical license was issued for Virginia yesterday! 🙌 thankfully the group I’m joining reimburses licensing. $302 for VA and $888 for DEA 😱
